Booking Terms & Conditions

We aim to keep things as uncomplicated as possible and therefore we offer a straightforward letting agreement (with terms standard to many other self-catering holiday accommodation agreements). By signing the booking form, you are accepting the booking conditions. These are summarised as follows:

PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS AND RESERVATIONS

Please email or phone to check availability and make a provisional booking. A provisional reservation will be held open for 48 hours pending return of the booking form. Once the booking form has been received and confirmed, we require payment in full within 48 hours. Should funds not be receivied within this time frame, your reservation will lapse. There is an additonal £100 deposit required which will be returned to you the same day of your check out (assuming no damages). The deposit can be paid any day prior to your check-in date.

CANCELLATION BY YOU

If you have to cancel, please inform us immediately and we will endeavour to re-let the dome and return your payment. If this is not possible, all monies which have been paid will be forfeited. Therefore, CANCELLATION PROTECTION INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED.

CANCELLATION BY US

Following your booking, in the unlikely event of the dome becoming unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, a complete refund will be paid including the deposit.

CLEANING AND SECURITY DEPOSIT

With the balance an additional £100 will be required. This is fully refundable after your visit providing the property is left in a satisfactory condition. If there have been any breakages or extra cleaning costs, they will be deducted from the refund.

CLEANING, DAMAGE, BREAKAGES

Good care should be taken of the property and it should be left as found. Any breakages should be reported and we reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Low season: The accommodation is available from 2 pm on the day of arrival to 11 am on the day of departure.

Mid & High season: The accommodation is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival to 11 am on the day of departure.

PARTY SIZE

The number of persons and pets occupying the site must not exceed that stated at the time of Booking, unless previously agreed with us.

ELECTRICITY AND HEATING

Electricity is powered by solar, and heating via a log burning stove inside of the dome. A quantity of logs is included in the price. Additonal logs can be purchased at £5 per re-supply.

SMOKING

The accommodation is strictly non-smoking therefore guests are asked not to smoke inside. Please do not leave cigarette stubs around the site or seating areas.

PETS

Pets are only accepted at owners risk and under the condition that they are not left unattended. There is a charge of £20 per stay for pets. A maximum of 2 pets are alowed at any one time. Please arrange for this at the time of booking. Please be a responsible pet owner. Please clean up after your dog on site.

THE LETTING

Occupation of the dome is for the purposes of a holiday let only and Guests may not part with possessions of the property, or share it, except with members of the party agreed at the time of booking. In the unlikely event of any maintenance or other important issues arising, the owners may require reasonable access to the property to deal with any such issues.

FORCE MAJEURE AND LIABILITY

We will not provide any form of compensation if we are unable to fulfil our obligations due to events outside our control. For example, extreme weather conditions, terrorist threat, natural disaster, health risks or other forces outside our control. The use of the accommodation is entirely at the guests risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss, damage, expense or inconvenience to the Guests or their companions, guests or property.

RISK

The owners cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to the Hirer’s property, or for personal injury, or damage to vehicles, which are parked at the Hirer’s risk.

COMPLAINTS

We endeavour to take every care to prepare our property to a standard whereby our visitors will enjoy their holiday. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately, and we will endeavour to assist you.

ACCEPTANCE

Completing a Booking form and paying the Deposit signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

ACCESS

Unfortunately the dome is not ideal for wheelchair access due to narrow paths, and steps. Please feel free to call us and discuss any other potential concerns.
