Our Story

Welcome and hello! We are Jake and Sarah, we are a family-run glamping site based in Beckley, Oxford.

Our dream of creating Oxford Glamping all started when we were living in the city. We found ourselves craving the stillness and simplicity of nature, so we spent the warmer months exploring new camp sites around the country. The only issue we found with camping was that although it felt great to 'get back to basics’, it was a lot less fun in the colder and wetter months. Putting up a tent in the dark sure has its challenges.. This led us to discover Glamping!

Being able to find Glamping Sites which were already set up and ready to go made everything so much easier, stress free, comfortable and enjoyable for us - and our lovely rescue dog, Skyla agrees!

We fell in love with Glamping straight away and enjoyed spending many holidays visiting and experiencing different Glamping Sites around the country. It was a bit of a pipe dream a few years ago when we said to each another ‘How great would it be if one day we could create our own site’.

After deciding we wanted to move out of the city and into the countryside, we moved to a gorgeous village called Beckley. It was here that we found a piece of land and were able to bring our dream to life!

Oxford Glamping encapsulates all that’s best about camping and getting back to nature but much more comfortably – and with a few extra luxuries thrown in. We have tried really hard to incorporate all the ‘best bits’ that we’ve experienced in the hope that you, too, will develop a love of Glamping.
